Here's a few tips on how I cope with tight calves. This is a muscle that is hard to release, but such a major contributor to your bodies movement. Especially important for runners. I'll show you how you can use a foam roller and/or trigger release balls (ie: a $3 lacrosse ball or tennis ball) to get into those hard spots to access. I'll also explain how eccentric stretching can be helpful, and show you how to do it.
Suggested Equipment: Foam Roller, Yoga Block (books or piece of lumber will do), Trigger Release Balls (any sports ball).
