When it was first introduced to me, I really struggled with meditation first and foremost because I could not comfortably sit down. There was no way I was going to be able to calm my mind to sit in silence. For me, I found having a task - to physically check-in with my body - made the process a bit easier to start. And then it was brought to my attention that its alright to lay down when you meditate. So coupling those two things actually made the process really helpful. In this video, you're invited to get comfortable and check in with your body. Just carve a few minutes out of your day, and lay down in bed or on the floor for a short body scan meditation.
Equipment: Things that might help you get comfortable, like blankets, a pillow under your head or knees, etc.
