Kettlebell Intervals for Obliques and Core (22 min) | HIIT
15-30 Minutes
•
21m
This series combines long work intervals of 60 seconds with lots of cross-body core work. The swings and snatches will help build explosive power along with training the abs. Work hard to stabilize your centre of gravity, and these rounds will really get your deep core and obliques fired up. We only move through one set of five exercises, but will repeat it three times. As always, prioritize keeping good form rather than lifting heavy or going fast.
Intervals: 60 seconds work with 20 seconds rest (60:20).
The Exercises: Flat Back Pullover; Alternating Swings; Russian Twists; Surrenders; Alternating Snatch (if Snatch isn’t accessible, replace with Clean and Press)
Equipment: a single medium weight Kettlebell that you can press overhead.
Intensity Level: Challenging!
