Pigeon Pose is a fantastic stretch for the muscles of the outer hips and glutes. However, there are some cues that are really common in yoga that fail to set people up for success. Early on in doing yoga, I almost hurt my knee because I was doing this pose incorrectly and really trying to force it. So in this video, I'll give you some tips on how to set up properly without risking injury.
Equipment: maybe a block or rolled up blanket.
